10 NEW WAYS TO MAKE SOY-BASED SAUCE | VEGETARIAN SOY-BASED SAUCE

I love having Hot Pot dinner parties and setting out all the sauce ingredients in pretty dishes for each guest to make his or her own sauce. Hot Pot is a traditional Chinese food experience. Raw meat and vegetables are served at a formal table. Hot decorative pots full of flavorful broth are provided for each guest and everyone cooks his or her own food in the hot broth. Each person has dipping sauces to season their own cooked meat and vegetables.

When I host a hot pot experience, I make it more like a buffet with several hot pots and a large array of meats, vegetables and spices for each guest to make their own plate. I often hang out by the sauce area to help with quantities and combinations, but most people just love creating the perfect complement to their plate of meat and vegetables.
